It is a puzzle about us all, a puzzle to which there is no answer. Sometimes what we hear and what we see are both false. Facing numerous obstacles to trust between the self and others, what are we supposed to do?

舞剧《姽婳·西游》由古典名著《西游记》生发而来,向至深的人性探寻而去。“姽婳”二字既暗喻“内心”若有似无的变化形态,以错乱怪异的谎言类比人物内心的喁喁私语。
The dance play “The Demon Within” is based on the story of "Monkey King vs. White Bone Spirit" in the classic Chinese novel, Journey to the West. The play aims to explore human nature and all its complexities; the demon within implies one’s own internal demons as well as one’s ever-changing nature. The play’s title also rhymes with “ghost talk,” an analogy of lies to the characters’ internal monologue.
作品并不致力于还原原著的故事情节,而是以其中笔墨最少的“沙僧”为视觉切入点,着眼于人物“内部矛盾”及“心理逻辑”。以仿佛“局外人”的视角渐入,从显而易见的“果”出发,层层剥茧抽丝找寻最初的“因”。
